Huesgfx, a indie film production studio, is seeking an editing\/post production intern for a indie feature Sci-fi\/horror feature.. Intern will work closely with\u00a0 lead editor and producer on all aspects of post-production. Duties will be widespread and will include contributing to story development, media management, footage logging, music editing, graphics editing and assisting the production as needed. Intern will have the opportunity to edit the \u201cBehind the Scenes\u201d footage reel and will participate in logging and preparing program deliverables for the final release.<\/p>\n
Applicants must want to learn editing on Premier and the creation of 3D CGI and have a great understanding of story, and be willing to take both technical and creative challenges head-on. Intern will get a sense of how a boutique production company is run as well as what the responsibilities entail for preparing a feature film for delivery<\/p>\n
This is an unpaid internship but students will receive college credit for their work, there is a small stipend, as well as all the food and drink you can consume and VIP access to all the fun film parties. (there are a few brewing up)\u00a0 Studio is in Ballard with a remote studios in Idaho and California.\u00a0 (travel to bothis not required, but we will be traveling a bit and remote editing)<\/p>\n
Editing sessions are flexible, but will usually run long (8+ hours a day)\u00a0\u00a0 Great attitude is more desirable then experience. We tend to be a bit gonzo and wacky and try and have a good time with all this indie film making \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 This is a PC shop, running premier and After effects.<\/p>\n
